Description

The Maple Leaf Super Macaron bucking is designed specifically for use in AEG and SRS airsoft replicas. This high-quality hop-up bucking is designed to make Maple Leaf Crazy Jet inserts, which use a VSR/GBB cut, compatible with AEG hop-up systems.

Where standard AEG buckings normally require a bridged or windowed barrel, the Maple Leaf Super Macaron slides easily over open cut / bridgeless barrels like a VSR bucking, but with the correct outer diameter for AEG hop-up chambers. For maximum performance, this bucking is recommended in conjunction with the Maple Leaf Omega Hop-up Tensioner and Crazy Jet Inner Barrel. This provides improved range, higher precision and less deviation to the left or right while shooting.

This bucking is compatible with both bridged and bridgeless barrels. Do check that your hop-up chamber is suitable for AEG buckings before ordering, as many GBB and VSR replicas are designed for thicker GBB/VSR buckings.

Multiple hardnesses are available for different replica setups. Replicas with higher FPS generally perform better with harder buckings. In cold weather, however, it is recommended to use a softer variant (about 5 degrees lower) so that the bucking does not become too stiff. Harder buckings wear out less quickly, while softer buckings often provide more consistent shots but wear out faster.

Hardness of the buckings

The hardness (degree) of a hop-up bucking determines for which muzzle velocity or energy it is best suited. In general, the more powerful the replica, the harder the bucking should be. Maple Leaf recommends the following guidelines:

The Maple Leaf Macaron hop-up bucking is compatible with electric airsoft replicas according to the Tokyo Marui standard. Keep in mind that the nub of this bucking has a different shape. Because of this, the hop-up window of the inner barrel must be at least about 4 mm long to function optimally.
